¿Bolsas reutilizables?

Todavía quedan unos días para comprar tu bolsa reutilizable hecha de material reciclado. Este 31 de mayo se rifará una bici eléctrica Sondors Rentals Santa Teresa entre las personas que compren la bolsa, a la venta hasta el 30 de mayo en Super La Hacienda, Ronnys 1 y 2. Debemos hacer conciencia sobre la cantidad de plástico que consumimos. Las bolsas de plástico, fabricadas con polietileno de baja densidad, tardan más de 100 años en descomponerse totalmente. ¿Queremos vivir rodeados de plástico? Como consumidores tenemos un gran poder de influencia en la oferta de bienes. Si los consumidores nos rehusamos a comprar un producto, la oferta deberá cambiar para satisfacer las necesidades del consumidor. ¡Reduzcamos nuestro consumo de productos que contaminan!

¡Si sos la persona afortunada que se gana la bici, muchas felicidades! Las bicis eléctricas son una excelente opción de transporte en la costa que no emite gases de efecto invernadero y no hace ruido. Suena bien ¿no?

Reusable bags?

There is still some time to get your tote bag -made out of recycled material- and participate on the raffle of a Sondors Rentals electric bike. Get them at Super Hacienda, Ronny’s 1 and 2 before May 30^th, the raffle will be May 31^st. Let’s rethink the amount of plastic we consume. Plastic bags made out of low density polyethylene take more than 100 years to decompose completely. Do we really want to live surrounded by plastic?  As consumers, we have significant influence over supply. If consumers refuse to buy a certain product, supply must change to adapt to the consumers’ needs. Let’s reduce to a minimum our consumption of polluting products!

If you are the lucky person who will win the bike, good for you! You will be using a transportation means that doesn’t generate greenhouse gases and is noiseless! Sounds good, right?
